Montero WR-02

I had a Montero a while ago, loved the body but couldn't get on with the chassis so eventually I sold it. And kinda regretted it ever since. So when TimeTunnel had the Montero kits on special offer a few months ago, I grabbed one, promising myself I'd sort out a better chassis.

It took me a while but eventually I came up with this. It's a lengthened WR-02, using two aluminium brackets to move the gearbox & axle assembly back by about 25mm.

Of course Willy wanted to drive, and because it's only going to be used in the UK we did a RHD conversion too :)

Well done Rob. Very nice build.
Any chance you can loose the tinted screen. Flat clear styrene should the job nicely. I think it will transform the truck even.
Probably only a 5 min job for a master builder like you.
