1988 Avante Club racer?
My latest project is an original vintage 1988 Avante.
I've never actually owned one of these, I was about 10 when it was first released, and it was way way out of my price range obviously, £200 for the kit, which is was a lot of money back then.
Judging by it's 'barn find' condition, it hasn't been run in a long, long time, and has acquired a nice thick layer of dust over the years.
The B.R.C.A sticker and the sheer number of spares lead me to believe that this might have been a club racer back in the late 80's early 90's :) It's currently fitted with a Futaba 112b esc, acoms receiver and a parma cyclone motor. I'm just hoping the dust isn't holding it all together!
Comments welcome :)

A strip down, full clean and rebuild will have it looking great again - its probably quite well looked after underneath the layers of storage dust

Very cool!! I have just pulled my finger out and nearly finished mine, just looking for a used rear wing to keep the patina the same as the rest! these are such cool buggies, sooooo over complicated!

Thanks for the comments guys, I've plenty of experience in taking in strays The egress in my showroom was in far worse condition than this before I restored it. I'm looking forward to getting started!
