A nice addition

I purchased this relatively rare kit from a fellow TC member yesterday (6/2/1015). As we were local I was able to collect it from his house. We had a good RC related chat. Many thanks for the deal mate!

I have long been a fan of the TA01 and TA02 chassis as they are such a fun build and nice quality too. The kit was advertised with some damage (the box was a bit out of shape and the blister packaging around the motor was broken. My initial thoughts were to keep it NIB for the time being and then build it on a rainy day but this morning I had a go a re-shaping the box from the inside with a steam iron and it worked really well. It's never going to be 100% but it looks pretty tidy now. I cannot really do much about the blister packaging as it's gone very brittle but I am happy with the box now. For the moment it's staying NIB but I may not be able to resist the urge to build it for that long! Time will tell!
