Let me start by apologizing for the terrible pictures. I wanted to take good ones but was more concerned with playing with the cars and barbecuing. Any way what few substandard images I have show my Bruiser, my Monster Beetle and my loaner Hornet enjoying a California day on the beach. My wife likes the Monster Beetle on the beach so that was her choice to bring. I unscrewed the front aux lights since we all know what happens to them when you look at them wrong. I always enjoy watching the Bruiser slowly trudge through the sand so that was my choice. Finally, my wife asked me to bring something for her dad and brother to drive: Enter loaner Hornet, the indestructible in his blue beetle body. I brought every battery I had with me (12) and burned through them all. Only problem I had was at the end of the day, the Monster Beetle started to run slow. At first I thought it was dying and the LiPo alarm hadn't gone off! That's not good on an expensive battery. Turned out that my wife's constant driving over this small sand dune and catching air off of it was too much for the 540 that I had covered in tape to keep the sand out. Poor little guy was over heating! Those 540's aren't happy when you cover the air holes and run a 7500mAh battery in them. It was a great day and we had a lot of fun playing with the cars. The hornet was passed around to everyone and was the source of the most battery consumption. EVERYONE drove it. At one point it was my brother in laws fiance having a go at it and doing a good job I must say! What a day. Cheers!

The only good pic I took At the end of the day. Sandy and happy GoPro truck Packed you and ready for rest Heavily loaded Pinto

You are much to humble, the last two photos are really good looking to me. I should have gotten photos of me FLOATING home all weekend, thankfully, my house is still here with no signs of water damage....YET.
I gotta get me one of those front end bars for my original Hilux, think it looks great on yours.

What a perfect day! There is nothing wrong with the pics and nobody can blame you for having too much fun to take more. So impressed your whole family got in on the action! That's what makes it so special! Nice p-plate by the way, and thanks for sharing!

Looks a lot of fun!
Been doing the same!

What battery packs do you run?

Taken pics is a secondary thought when having so much fun! But pics look good to me and give a nice feel of the surroundings and the atmosphere of your day out!
