Stock Car from approx 1973, brought this one a while ago with the body in a pretty bad state, have made some repairs but there not the best!

Thinking I dig the Batmobile approach the previous owner had in mind. Just needs a BatSymbol on it. I like what you have done here, amazing looking considering it is nearly as old as I am.

I was gifted one of these recently and there's quite a few others on here we should convert them all to electric and start a vintage stox race series...

Wish I could find of these in Texas..when I was stationed at Ramstein, I used to read the British rc car and aircrfaft mags, and I saw ads for the Mardave, wanted one then.
I think you did a good job on her, BTW.

Nice job . I had an old chassis frame from one of these many years ago , never got round to doing anything with it , shame really as yours looks excellent . Can't beat the old Stock Car scene from the '70's

Many thanks all! This is a couple of years older than me, and I must admit the Stock Cars have never really appealed to me but as their a big part of Mardave's past I had to do one!

I have never seen one of these before. You did an amazing job with the restoration. What a nice find.

As a very young lad I used to watch these go round and round and round and round, I'm pretty sure these are what got me into RC Cars! Thanks for the memories.

On of those was the first rc-car for me and my brothers,a lot of fun and hundrade of times putting the belt on.
Great build and nice retro colours super 😎

Thankyou for the comments, matssrb - I can imagine the belt being a nightmare as they sit almost on the floor with nothing stopping it slipping off one side of the gear!
