This started as a project to prove to myself that I could design modern 1.9 inch rims to fit a WW1 - so I could install modern tires (since I have very few good original WW tires). It evolved into a custom resto-mod of a beat up M38 eBay find.

Custom & 3D printed bits include : wheels, hubcaps, windshield, windshield hinges, modified grille, relocated winch, and headlights with M38 military guards. Able to run modern 1.9 inch rubber, it mainly sports a set of Gmade MT1902s.

Awesome personal touches which really raise the bar. It does look a lot more authentic with the new tyre and wheel combo too.

Very cool! It is so hard to get a modern set of tires to work with the original WW1. The ones you picked look awesome and really great work with the wheels and other details too. As others have said - Love it!!

Awesome! Great idea to redesign the wheels, and so many other nice touches too. But now you've made me unhappy with the look of my M38s!!
