This is my gorgeous Egress from 1989 I was very lucky indeed to purchase from a friend, it's never been ran! The dynatech has never had power through it, its oil and grease free. The tyres have never been on the floor too lol. I believe this is Tamiya's greatest offroad professional racing buggy where they got it just right and amended there mistakes from the 1988 avante. This has the perfect balance of carbon fibre and alloy, the body looks superb and totaly hugs the chassis and reveals the power house of a motor which in its self looks awesome with its fins to disperse heat. It comes with the adspec plus controller which is extremely hard to find this one is new and boxed. I do prefer this in white and just looks the dogs bits. Also on this model you will see the carbon racing fins fitted to the rear spoiler.
For a car getting on for 26 years old it defies design logic! OK there was plenty of faster and stronger rc models at the time but none even come close to the design and looks of the 1989 Egress from Tamiya.

The pinnacle of Tamiya's range of 1980,s offroad racing models.

Great looking suite and that is the OTHER Adspec radio set I have, sadly no box, but I am happy to have the radio set none the less.

Adpecs are hard to get in any condition boxed or loose they are the extra piece in the puzzle for a few of these Tamiya collectors. I think the radios are very important, the right model and year to the car and there are some gorgeous pistol grips from the mid 80's to mid 90's I love the cross over where transmitters start to get complicated! You can get radios in superb shape and condition for not a lot of money. I think they are too cheap and worth allot more than there going for. Maybe that will change? Who knows.
Thanks for your input Crash Cramer.........

I have MANY of the Futaba radios that I only dreamed of in the 80's and 90's. I have a cut off point I think of around the year 2000 when they are just starting to look more hideous. I have a lot to document in my radio collection too. I have some more posts to make for the Futaba ESCs that I have collected all of too. Too little time, too much to do.

Sounds like your well into your futaba's there is a couple of models from futaba that I am after myself they made some fantastic pistol grips. I always check to see if any pop up on the auction site, just waiting for the right condition one to appear. Magnum junior and the later ones which loom almost twice the size will a flip panel on the side concealing your trims. Great stuff......
