Cometh the vanquish!!!!

Hi all here's my latest project a lovely vanquish,
I paid £40 for it but you guys know how it is!! Buy cheap and spend lots on parts but hey ho that's why we love this hobby,
I received this in not bad shape!!!!!! The body was toast so an order was placed with TBG for new body and wing plus a set of MCI decals which I must say are good quality unlike some of those terrible ones on fleabay!!,
I love tearing these tamiyas apart they tell you a story of what there life has been this vanquish had grease in the front shocks!!!!!' Plus J cloth for tyre foam inserts!!! Boy this needed some urgent attention from DR 'T' thankfully the only chassis part that was needed was the front shock tower it was totally broke even I couldn't sort that so I've up rated it to an aluminium one which is nice and sturdy apart from that it was the usual total strip down everything cleaned degreased then reassembled with lashings of Teflon grease and oil ,I refurbed the wheels with 3 coats of ice white plus 2 clear laquer finished off with new foam inserts and new rubber all round trinity fronts not sure on the eagle rears but there identical to the tamiya's ,a special thanks to erich from chile for supplying the tyres nice one erich!!! ,
Anyway this will join my recently restored dynastorm oh by the way I resprayed all the underside satin black looks very nice indeed,pleased with the body as well I spend quite a few hours making sure it's just right that's just the prep work!!!!,
I've left the rear suspension set up as it was when I received it seems a bit low to me!!!!' Looks mean looking though!!
