Hi all :-)

Had this for a couple of years now, just not added to my showroom! Got this from Ebay, with radio gear for £40. It had been well used, the wheels and tyres weren't in the best condition, and it was still fitted with the friction shocks, original silvercan and msc. My daughter had told me she wanted something a bit faster than her Monster Beetle. and it had to be pink! ;-) I set about the strip down and cleaned everything up. I then ordered some bearings from RC Bearings, some decals from MCI, some oil filled shocks from Ebay, along with an mtroniks esc and Sport tuned motor and a set of DT02 wheels and tyres. While I was waiting for parts to arrive, I sanded and painted the body in the pink that my daughter had asked for. Was a bit worried about how the car would look with the decals on, but think it turned out ok:-) Once all the parts arrived, my daughter helped me fit them all, I fitted the bearings and motor, and my daughter fitted the shocks and wheels and tyres. We took the car out after we had finished, and my daughter was thrilled at how fast this car gets down the road;-) It accelerates well and corners well with the oil filled shocks in place, but the steering set up on these cars isn't the best, but on an open beach, this car is great fun :-) As always, all comments good or bad, welcome.

Cheers Paul

@madcapiwant1, cheers buddy . Yes, I agree, it was great bonding time, my daughter really enjoys using this car, especially as it's faster than most of my cars Wasn't sure if the colour would work, but I think it does too cheers Paul

@AndyjcClod thanks fella, yes there do seem to be a lot of pink cars around at the mo Yes agree totally, time is the greatest thing I can give my daughter, I only see her twice a week, so when she is with me I try to give her as much time as I can, and if that's enjoying this great hobby of ours, then even better Cheer Paul
