AMG Mercedes D2 DTM-

Having been drifting in and out of collecting RC cars over the last few years, I have been unable to pick up one of these.
This was my first Touring car at the age of 12. The Grasshopper 2 was my first Tamiya, but this was the one that really got me interested in the TA chassis`d cars. I remember picking it up cheap from a `Cash Converters` store. Cant remember how much i paid for it though. I do remember however that i bashed the thing to bits. So many memories of swapping out pinions in the quest for speed, while buying various bodies to sit on it.
I even remember trying to melt the gearbox casing back together after i cracked the lower wishbone mounting. Good times.
I bought this from a former TC member after it had failed to sell on the bay. Made him an offer and here it is. Its actually on a TA01 chassis, but i have the bits to convert it over to a TA02. Includes driver cockpit too. One less thing for me to add!
