Hi guys, Just completed my 934 Jager over the weekend, this 40th anniversary model can't be compared to the 30th anniversary. Its far more cheaper than the 30th anniversary and includes a hop-up TA02SW chassis and parts. Back in the 90's, the TA02 frp chassis kit was one of Tamiya's best touring car optional parts to offer and i'm very happy they rereleased it.

My newly built is almost completely stock. I've added some improvements to this kit. The wheelbase is converted to 230mm to fit the shell better just like it was designed for the 934 30th anniversary.
Other changes are additional decals 'Dunlop' and 'Shell' logos. A left hand drive Tamiya cockpit is installed too. On the chassis, I've changed the plastic shocks to David Jun's TA03F shock units. Silver gear case were used. Compliments the shocks I would think.
A great kit to own. Its about time Tamiya release the TA02 FRP chassis in a complete car kit. Thanks for looking and Enjoy RC.

Looking good, makes me think I should get the bodyset and decals and go for it. I have an HPI FRP set up here that is needing completed.

Looks great. Really like the shocks, looks great on it. Wanted to use the pink shocks on mine, but guess these will look better, with an orange body. How did you reduce the wheelbase?

Thanks to you all for the nice comments, the car is pretty much stock. Just a few simple mods and careful building will look like this. @Klaussen; do check out my tutorial link below

Nice work! Hoe did you do the panel lines and the lines on the wheelcases?

What cockpit set did you use? It looks great with that added detail!

Thanks Jeloneal, I use Tamiya's Lhd cockpit set. The cockpit fits quite well with the shell. A bit of the rear cockpit section had to be cut.
