I expect many of us will have started out Tamiya fascination with a Grasshopper, whether that be an original or re-release. Back in the mid 80's when I was at school I had a little Nikko Black Fox my best friend got a Grasshopper and I was amazed! From that point I wanted one, and that feeling has never gone away despite owning quite a number! In October 2016 my good friend (and previous TC member) asked me if I wanted to buy some of his NIB kits and this was one I had to buy!

That's a good buy. My 1st was the hornet mk1 and still have it . I wanted the Monster beetle but is was £20 more at the time and on a paper round at £4.00 a week it took a long time saving .. Enjoy

Nice! Mine was a Striker. My brother had bought it for me, for my birthday. I don't have the exact one he bought me, but I do have a Factory stock one in my collection. One of the few I will never sell.
