bought this as a bit of a wreck and had strip it down and rebuilt it but it was so worth it. I love this car.

Simply stunning! Between the hotshot and the original optima they have to be the best looking 4wd RC buggies!

Thanks. I bought the white wheels first then I thought I will get a set of the gold ones and try those and they look a lot better.

Gold rims on the Hotshot look tough!

You ain't alone in loving this car. Do you have a 'Before' photo?? I have parts out in the garage for what looked like perhaps 2 more builds, but I have been distracted of late with holidays and guests and an FAV that came in the mail, so I will soldier on and get to building and fixing.

I have somewhere. When I got it it had no shell no servo cover no centre drive shaft. The bits of the chassis which holds the rear wing were cut off so needed new ones of those. The tires were on the wrong wheels like front on rear wheels and rears on front. The front and rear shocks were swapped around and glued on with super glue no 4mm clips. The front diff didn't work so when I stripped it one of the metal cogs was missing and the three pinion gears were laying in the bottom of the diff. Drive shafts front and rear round the wrong way as in front on back. Some of the metal bearings were missing in the rear diff. The 2 metal bars from the rear shock were round the wrong way and super glued.

The list goes on.
