It was difficult to add this car in the right status. restored ? new built ? or runner ? but i think runner is the best way to describe it. After an horrible accident where someone tries to cross a junction with his AUDI 80 while shown red light, or should i say he hasn't just tried, he DID it, he was completely restored for even the same price as it had cost new ( but who cares, i haven't paid it ) you will easily find it at national competitions. I like to drive it on the track, or on the mountains or most of the times on slalom events. www.msc-enzian.at - Sometimes i drove without that famous rear 'whale-tail-wing', but it fits him so well.

Ouch ouch, thats why I drive a huge Dodge pickup whenever someone crashes into it nothing happens (to my truck anyway). It looks like they did great work fixing that much damage!

with that ammount of sil damage nobody round here would repair that... that would be a cat B write off. how come in pic 4 it has no whale-tail but in the rest it does... and how come in the crash damage pics she is wearing 14/15' boots maybe escort gti or fiesta si rims... the escort cossie has 16' front and 17' rear with alot more dish...

@ Daz87UK the car alsways wear the original silver 5 spoke rims in 8/16 inches, just my race tyres are fitted on 8,5/17 inches rims in black, but they haven't been homologated to many competitions. When I drove national championship races I wasn't allowed to put off the rear whale tail or wing, however you will say in england, so I mounted it again. I hated that wing, cause every police officer stopped me and asked IS THAT ALLOWED ? So I put it off. But the wing was homologated through the FIA and so I was forced to drive WITH that wing. Normally I drove without it. But you are right. Escorts are boring. And the only parts of the body which are taken from the Escort are the Doors and the the front hood, ok they made holes into it

A bit late comment, but nice to see some real Cossy ! Mine is again MIG (Mint in Garage) after a full restoration last year (2021). Cost me an arm but when we love ...
The same problem here is Switzerland with the rear wing but who cares, the Cossy is WITH the rear wing
