The Kyosho Blizzard DX was distributed by Graupner in Germany in the early - mid 80s. It's a 1/12 scale replica of the Kässbohrer PB 170 D/DR. The lights, beacon, exhaust, rear groomer and snow blade were optional parts. Back in the day I could not afford the option parts, but today I got a used example from ebay and restored it to full catalogue specs. Even the wiring for a working beacon was done.

Very nice. I have been interested in one of these for a while. I have just succumbed to temptation and bought a NIB Blizzard EV from ebay. I will be painting it in the same colours as the one you have here. I also hope to scratch build a lighting rig for mine using amber flashing LEDs and some front and rear LED spotlights - this is going to be tricky, but worth it. Hopefully we will get some snow this year to enable me to try out my new toy!!!!!

Where can I buy a snowplough? I live in Norway and we usually get som snow in the winter. would be fun to build one like this. If it`s not posible to buy snowploughs anymore i just have to try building one

Try ebay/google and search for 'Blizzard'. Today there's a electric and nitro version available from Kyosho.
