| description | Thought I would share this one here. Simple, but could be helpfull info to someone. (I am not sure but I guess this also means that 1/18 Nylint Crawler wheels would fit M chassis rims? Witch would make abot the same outher diameter as the XC/CC01 tyres. This idea presented by someone in scale4x4 forum, got me on to this) The Proline Dirt Hawgs compound is soft, and should give a great grip on numerous surfaces. The M chassis rim is a little bit to narrow, but it is no problem. The 1/14 QD Buggy rims are slightly wider and are a perfect fit, but there you gott another type of wheel adaptor system. If someone know about 1/18 crawler tyres that are high, but not to wide. Please tell me.
Update, now also tried on car. The front bodymounts are on the lowest hole!
Cheers

I use the foam they came with, fits perfect
Great idea!!! Did you use the foams they come with or normal m chassis foams??
Nope, verry little. You will have good steearing with no modefication!
But do the front wheels foul the arches when turning?
Thought this idea looked familiar! Nicely executed! They will look cool under the MK I Ford Escort body I have as well! The Narrow rims actually makes the tyre look better, like a full scale forestry rally tyre!
Cool that I have inspired you! Thanks for the nice coments
Just bought a couple of sets of these the other day, with this idea in mind!
Cool idea!
Nice!!!
An good alternative to the Rallyblock cut-down option, which tend to have quite hard treads when wrapped round such a little wheel (but similarly also look cool like these!)
Thanks mate! My mini is going to rally now
