Dennis, I have the same one, bought it on Marktplaats from a guy in Almelo a while back. Have a new shell for it (got ripped off by Quartel). Making mine a shelf queen, along my GT 1, 2 and 3`s. Thx Miramax for clearing the mystery..

Thx miramar! Do you know if there's another one on TC? I would be interested in buying another one! Are there more version (color)? Thx in advance!

This model was offered by the German Tamiya distributor Dickie both in a generic Dickie packaging and through Porsche with a Dickie packaging made for Porsche, thus the WAP item number. As so often for models built in inferior quality in Germany on order from Dickie, this model sold poorly, similarly to the 300SLR. It might be somewhat 'rare' outside Germany, but both German Porsche dealers and toy/hobbyshops have sold these models heavily discounted for a long period.

Neither have I (but that says nothing, really...)
