One of the neat features with the Tamtech 934 is the new 'reverse' body mounting system that allows you to affix the body pins inside the shell from below, rather than having them on the outside disturbing the look of this beautiful body set. The trade off is that you end up with is two well hidden mounts in the rear (under the wing) and two large recesses in the front that contain the screws for the mounts. Not so pretty! Thank you to DJTheo for his sharp eye and pointing out that this same idea is suggested in the manual on the top of page 19. Somehow I hadn't noticed it myself.
When I started to do the decals I noticed two white, oval shaped decals in the corner numbered '83', but hadn't noticed anything in the manual that called for them.
The below pictures pretty well describe the process, and as you can see it's pretty simple.
First, cut out the square and peel away the outer backing. (Remember these are die cut?
Then rub them down with a little alcohol or similar to be sure that they are perfect clean and oil free.
Next, cover them in one good coat of the same polycarbonate paint color that you used on the body. Don't worry - it will stick just fine - and it's flexible to boot! Now, to give it a glossy shine, spray it with a coat of TS clear once the base color dries.
Once the paint is totally dry, go around the edges with a very sharp knife to trim away the paint from the backing. This step is very important as the loose paint flakes have a tendency to curl under on to the adhesive, and fouling the decal. (I learned this the hard way and had to trim one of mine down a bit to fix it.)
As you can see, while the final result is not perfect, but it is the correct color and IMO looks much better than the very unrealistic 'pits' that are part of the stock design. I suspect it will look even better once the sponsor livery further obscures the cover decals.

Oops - Thanks Theo! There it is on pg. 19 ... How did I miss that?
The manual writes about them, this is exactly their purpose, unfortunately its not a perfect solution but the Jaegermeister ones cover it mostly
