description  Finally completed and took it for a shakedown at Bruntwood Park car park, had to wait till 6pm for it to be clear enough-but worth the wait, and the kids loved spending 5 hours in the park!. Surface does have a few too many larger stones, but pretty good in some areas, and very dry and dusty at present. The TB01 dustproof cover seems to be sadly lacking in 'dust-proofness!!' but at least it keeps the stones out. VERY impressed with the way the car ran with the lightweight alloy parts, plastic gears etc, running an alloy motor mount, Sport Tuned Tamiya motor- torque was good, fast acceleration, top speed a bit lacking-but at least it all stayed cool and bags of running time (I've suspended using 12 turn motors due to heat problems on my other TB01's). Must improve the steering I think, possibly with an alloy racing steering setup.

Oh, and a nice piece of brass tubing for the exhaust...

All home made mudflaps and full inner wheel arches as well using 0.5mm plasticard, helps keep the chassis cleaner and makes mounting the mudflaps a heck of a lot easier!

nice one that, mate. Are the mudflaps and exhausts tamiya items or did you add them yourself, if so - great job, adds immensely to the realism. i like the tamiya sport tuned, not that fast, but as you say, lots of runtime. Cheers.
