| description | I`ve always been a fan of trophy trucks so decided I`d build meself one. Gathered a few cheap rc cars my nephew didn`t want any more and started pulling them to pieces (as ya do!) looking for anything that I could use on this project! Had to make my own body mounts to get the height as the wheels kept fowling against the body. With all the parts I could find I started chopping and changing parts to get the result I wanted. Pics show parts roughly added for now as I will tidy it all up later and try to hide the screws!! Ignore the paint work as its really really rough...lol! Also toying with the idea of flaring the front wheel arches somehow although not sure about how to go about this! Will post more pics as the project goes on! Any advice or comments welcome!

Thanks for ya comments guys! The wheels are from an RS escort with the inner wheel swapped to the reverse of the rim. I like the idea of the savage bumper! Also thinking I may convert to 2wd as most trophy trucks are!
Thats a very nice looking truck buddy, definately made that body look much more realistic.
Very coo, good idea!
Looking really cool so far! Try a Savage bumper though, or something a bit smaller.
Very nice! I like it allready in this rough look. Very creative. What very rare wheels did you use? They dont look familiar to me?
I think it looks rock ard
very nice mate
Real cool looking truck, The rear shot with the frame & tank is wicked!!!
Really like what your doing, am a fan of trophy trucks myself. Often watch Robby Gordon and the like clips on internet. It looks quite mean and ready for action already, love the rollcage on the bed area. Keep it rolling mate!
Looks like gd work, Is it still 4wd? could do it as per the pro truck that 'attempted' the dakar
