Quick Willy resto

I bought this old Wild Willy last week and did a quick 'restoration' I actually hate doing restos because of the time and expense I simply don't like looking for parts so I used what I had and what I got from the ebay auction. I stripped the body in brake fluid and found no cracks other than a tiny one on grille, it was missing only the shifter, dash and gas can but I had some WW2 parts so they came about. The wheely springs had been worn off so sitting at my work bench i dug through my junk drawers and built a new wheely bar from TLT-1 brackets, a spring, two twist ties and some wheels from a tape deck I took apart. it works really well ;) I was to lazy to take the chassis apart and it ran great so I simply sprayed it with a pressure washer inserted some more grease and called it good, I repainted it with the same paint I used for my real Jeep, All In all a quick easy project that I might do more on later but I just wanted it ready to run, Oh I removed all the old electrics and fitted some a new hi-torque servo, a Tamiya ESC and Futaba magnum Sport radio, what a blast to run, I'll take better pictures when i get the real Jeep out and cleaned up for the summer ;)
