| description | some might have seen this in the trades last week, i got it off fellow member simch for a good price, and its gonna rock, i plan on getting it to a point where i can run it and then having some fun, seeing what its capable of (brushless) anyway before i can do that there are a few parts i need, and if anyone can help it will be much appreciated. the parts i'm desperate for are the body mounting tower and front lip thingy, and a 540 motor mount. i'm not too bothered about the apperance of this at the mo more about getting it running. thank you Simon for the deal (challenge) a really smooth and quick trade thanks in advance guys. Mike

awesome, cheers guys and i was considering 380 size bruhless set ups but the full size seems more fun
I'm sure someone else has probably sent you this link, but there's a 540 motor mount on the bay. [Click here]
If you want to go brushless , I suggest U try some of those Brushless 380s for flying models. All the gears don't ride on any bearings (metal shaft to gear) , better grease up well and prevent any dirt from getting in... I think U will be needing to find another gearset set very soon (they don't turn up that often. Did a good job resurrecting it ... these are very nice
yeah i was thinking about the chassis and how it will cope, might have to add some supports. the thing that looks most vulnerable to me are the front swing arms. just have to wait and see and don't worry there will be film and photos of every thing i do with it
good luck with the brushless set up! a standard 540 seems to much for these as the chassis is very weak. would love to see a video of it running though! is it the front body clip your looking for as may have one in the loft somewhere. let me know and i'll haver a look
I see lots of potential here. I hope the restoration goes like a dream. Good luck!
it would be cool, but maybe the amount of things that have been upgraded as a standard like the lack of diff and the suspension set up make tamiya think that no one would buy a re re. but i would for sure
I think I have a body tower somewhere! I need to look if you are interested. Brushless seems like great fun!
i wish tamiya would re-re these would be cheap to remake
