Wow, that first pic almost looks real! oh - wait... Just kidding! Nice car m8, time to make a 1:1Oth version....
Thanks for all the comments guys. Yeah its a jap import. Still badged as pajero. Its a 2.8 litre turbo diesel. Just bought a pajero mtw rerelease too ! Think i'll paint this a more subtle colour scheme though. Silver and red is an aquired taste !
Is it a Japanese import? Liverpool is full of them as the docks are one of the main offload points for the Japanese used car ships (the late rally driver Mark Lovell and his co-driver Roger Freeman ran one of the big import dealers here). They are easily spotted by the Pajero badge (they were Shoguns in the UK). If you ever drive a Pajero to Spain it will get a laugh from the locals (the name was changed to Montero for a good reason!).
i think we had it for a short time as a montero sport and also re-tagged as a dodge raider. about 87-91 if i remember right.
This would explain the popularity of that Pajero RE RE over in the UK and Europe. The USA doesn't get this vehicle at all from my recollection. I think the closest we get is the Montero and it doesn't look quite the same.
thanks guys, i was just day dreaming about how to make them for my pajero. i think they would make really cool accents.
Hood scoop is normal on turbo diesel. Air deflector is a factory option. I have the LWB V6...Nice ride.
both of them are factory fitted !
hood scoop and spoiler, hmmm.
