| description | Hi folk`s, as some other people have commented on various forums, the CR-01 tires are prone to slipping on the CR-01 beadlocks. And I am going to be competing with the wee beast at the weekend, So I decided to try and solve the problem.
I took a bare wheel to my local freindly engineering suppliers and we measured it up, and came up with 56.5mm then we found some `O`-ring`s the same size, which have a width of 2.6mm.
After hacking the foam inserts about alot and installing 60 grams of weight in each front wheel, I assembled the wheel`s using 1 `O`-ring per side as shown. They seem to have clamped up very well.
I will report back after the weekend .

Great tip, thanks.. I have just done about the same to my rims, only did i use rubber bands instead of O-rings.. Also works great.
Ok great idea and a nice tip.
oke, I understand. Tanx!
I got some stick on weights from model flight, which fit perfectly on the inside of the rim.
But how did you assemble the weight?
