I haven't posted any pictures of this in quite awhile, my XC based Dodge power Wagon project, I've been working on her again and added a few more small details, larger 1.9 rc4wd Tomahawk tires, and some more bed junk. I'm getting ready to do a lot more weathering and rust on this old timer. One of those trucks I just like to keep working on as I feel like it. Fun to drive also.

funny thing was it took me months to realize this was an xc. funny you posted this, i was thinking about this truck today and scale hay bales. would be easy to make some from twine and some dried grass or rafia.

You should really be proud of this work - you are very talented, it looks great!

Thanks guys, yeah I guess it doesn't really look like an xc at first glance which is kinda my intent This hay bale is from some toy farm kit, it isn't super realistic but makes for good photo ops and as a chair for bob and doug

Terrific detail as always. All it needs is some thick, oily exhaust coming out the back. And a shotgun rack in the back window. You have taken the XC to some amazing places.

That's awesome Seth! Great details! I have only seen these Dodges as a military model, not a civilian.

i think this is one of the best xc's there is! i just want to know where you got the body from!

Wyoming

16-Jan-2009

Thanks guys, yes the headlights are actually made from part of the F-350s light bar. As for the body it was mostly hand made but I started with a discontinued Pro-Line Dodge Power Wagon body and cut it way down to just a regular cab.

I am still wondering if you kept the OTHER Dodge P/U body to work on that was going to look like your 1:1

Wyoming

17-Jan-2009

Thanks guys, I don't have the other Dodge bodies anymore Chris as I no longer have the 1:1 (too much fuel to operate it) but I might have to look for a 88 Ford Ranger body now.

The Tamiya Bush Devil is nearly the same so maybe I'll look for one and fit it to an M chassis and make a camper shell
