Finally got around to photo-profiling and uploading this NIB XB Humvee I bought for a bargain price off the bay about a year ago. Have weathered the body, painted and glassed the mirrors, flat blackened just about everything that was silver or shiny. Also built form scratch the horizontal slat grill that goes behind the vertical grill, heat shrunk the aerial and springs, cut back the chassis and yet again made from scratch a chassis bumper. Almost forgot, made from scratch the window screen wipers too. It was all in aid of a scale realistic runner, though now I think it’ll spend most of its life on the shelf because of the time I’ve spent on it. Hope you like, comments and questions welcome as usual.

This looks really fantastic, at first glance it looks like a dirty Hummer (but not a toy a 1:1 dirty hummer) which is I guess the point and I must say you really have done a great job detailing it, looks just like the fleet of them sitting at my local National Guard Depot.

Don't think I would run a masterpiece like this either. Stunning work.
