| description | This was my third Tamiya kit I got back then and like the others I had as a child, I wanted to add a nib to my collection.
I cannot really remember what it was that drew me towards this kit (a 1/12th scale rally car) but I do remember comparing both the Celica and 959 to decide which one to buy. It came down to specs at the end of the day and the Celica won, plus you could fit an additional light set which kind of swung it 
This particular model has been a long time coming for me and this example is absolutely perfect. The shrink wrap has preserved the box in its entirety, sharp corners, bright white and the colours as bold as they were in 1987. A very nice addition to my collection and one which brings back great memories.
