Very rough Rider turned delicious treat!
Hi all! I purchased this Rough Rider on the bay for a very decent BIN price. I spent around 3 hours using rubbing alcohol, packing tape, nitro fuel, finger nails, and elbow grease, all to get that nasty silver paint off the precious vintage Viper body. The chassis was torn apart, cleaned, greased, sanded and polished. I then added aluminum wheel covers with Dubro hardware, a reproduction dual shock setup for the rear, a CRP front bumper and full bearings. A friend, Rob D, did the paintwork for me, which I was more than satisfied with. And now, with the near release of the Buggy Champ, I will soon add the remaining ingredients to it! - Jim
