description  After having been to a few beaches, Italy, Netherlands (see my vid) and Germany it was about time to fully restore this legendary evergreen.... Actually, I've had finished this resto (only body so far) around Jan09 and took me a time period of about 2 months. Now, here are my 'studio pictures'. Some of the stickers I used are smaller than from the org. decal (e.g. the yello Pennzoil), but on purpose. And for the (orig.) rear view mirrors it was worth to spent the money on (no comment on the amount...) - Anyway, one of the things with the Sand Scorcher is, I could just watch it for hours..even on a shelf....

Big thanks for all your great comments! I'll appreciate very much... @beetleman: Can't say which is the best method, but for myself I've found out that brushing by hand works best, because after using masking tape I always had to go for corrections, by hand....but for 'straight lines' masking&painting is better...and easier - And yes, the SS has it's 30iest Ann. as well....born Dec79, cant wait for this christmas!

Superb work! A perfect example. Which method do you find best for painting the window 'rubber' - brushing by hand or masking and spraying?
