| description | This is the second Touring car I raced under sponsorship from Schumacher as a 'B' team driver, its basically a development over the previous '99' spec SST using the same diff & suspension parts but with a different layout for the electrics (motor mounted centrally & true saddle pack configuration) Car went pretty well - was easy to set-up (or un-sensitive to set-up change?) My best results came running it indoors during the winter Schumacher series up at Worksop. The bulkhead design on these cars meant that the chassis 'tweeked' easily - so I was forever slackening & re-tightening the screws.
This car has pretty much all the 'Speed Secret' options on it.... Alloy shock bottoms, Carbon top deck, titanium hingepins & turnbuckles, Alloy bulkheads (including the expensive lower front one) And a few purple nuts & screws here & there!
