description  Having build quite a few FF-01 / FF01s I've used them with various aftermarket bodies that have required different wheelbases.

The FF-01 was released in two wheelbases; 240 (e.g. Clio Williams) and 258 mm (e.g. Mondeo, Volvo 850, Civic)

It's quite easy to turn a long wheelbase chassis in to a short one, and vice versa. Basically you just move the rear bulkhead and turn the rear shock tower around, see pictures.

I saw a Golf V5 on eBay where a model shop had given up on trying to fit the original body to the chassis because the wheelbase wrong

I came out that myself, as I build the beetle, after completing the chassis and body, it wouldn't fit nicely (neither wheelbase and bodyposts..duhh) had a look to the chassis and was indeed a easy fix. thought that it was known by here.....

if only i'd known this before i put tl-01 rear arms on my ff-01! would have saved me a LOT of work! Thanks for the info!
