description  Previously, I showcased Pro-Line's new 'tuber' body for the AX-10, which I thought would look good on a Tamiya buggy chassis. I just happened to have a DT-02 lying around and, after cutting the side-tubs off the chassis and trimming the shock mounts, was able to mount the Pro-Line body. I have yet to add any lights, body panels or a driver, but at least it is now a runner. I'll keep you posted as I add details. And no, the battery cannot easily be removed.

Thanks for all the comments and encouragement. I'll probably add some body panels, paint, decals, etc., after working out the cockpit situation. I think this 'body' would work well on a Grasshopper or related chassis, and could definitiely be incorpirated into a Buggy Champ or Kyosho Scorpion. It could also be cut and narrowed to make a single-seat buggy with many possibilities. I tried to keep this car's CG low, but a real CORR buggy would be a lot taller, which would be easier to accomplish than what I did here with the DT-02.

I like your idea better, looks like a cool sand buggy, perhaps some BIG sand paddle tires on the back??

Looks cool, kind of like a wild one. If you modify the motor mount plate you can fit a 15T to stop those large tyres overheating your motor. Will you be doing anything else like paint, etc?
