| description | An explanation is perhaps a little arbitrary for this particular kit, undoubtedly one of Tamiya's finest ever models and an absolute looker. This example was purchased as a sealed kit and is in immaculate condition. Despite the date of entry in my showroom, this was the second of the four original 'shot' kits I acquired but had been sat, sealed and packaged up for two years prior.
Edit: 02/01/12 - There is now news of this magical kits return, albeit as a revised Hotshot re issue and now carrying the sobriquet of 'Super Hotshot' but I definitely think in this case it makes the original even more sort after

I won many many cups with this baby back in the 1980's
Which I could catch one, this day will be a great day.I love this car.
Wow Paul, 2 years and now you upload it? Well at least it got in your showroom
Wow, to open a SShot after all these years, I would love to do that. I would like a photo of that small label in the lower right corner please. I don't know how many countries shrink wrap the kits, but the US is one, don't think it was a global thing. The gold wheels look great and it was nice they even showed the back being gold, even if they weren't that completely covered in real life.
Top-shot Paul.
