description  I found this Super Astute on Ebay for a fair price. It was adverticed as New Built, but after closer inspection during restoration, I found a couple of parts that had been repaired (front uprights). Those parts are now replaced, and it is truly a New Built model.

I have left the body as I got it. The decals are not 100%, but they are good enough. In case I get tired os feeing them like this, I got a new Decal sheet, just in case

The Super Astute kit does not come with a motor, but I had to treat this very nice model with a new motor as well, and the choice fell upon the Dynatech 02H. A wonderfull motor to look at, complementing the Super Astute.

I hope you like it Keep looking here, as my restored Astute is soon ready. (only waiting for the rear tires)

Nice restoration! I always liked the looks of the Super Astute Although the Dyna Storm's shape imo looks better, the Super Astute's box art is among the nicest of all Tamiya releases!
