Hornet (AFTER) SOLD

My finished summer thrasher! Really wanted a fresh fun runner for the summer, something to have fun with at every opportunity, this Hornet is what I chose. I will be taking it on holiday with me soon too, hopefully beach shots will follow. Here’s a list of things I did to give this old tired original Hornet a new spirit for life. All new electrics including a Sports Tuned motor, full strip clean and grease, re-attached the wing properly, had a spare driver so painted him up and put him in the cockpit, decaled up the spots and wing, fitted some better tyres, painted lettering on tyres, netted windows, covered holes in rear body with metal mesh, painted the wheels and finally I custom made and fitted twin exhausts for that retro sand buggy look.

Gave it a test drive and it runs very well, can’t wait to get his one on the dirt, it’ll kick up dust for sure. This buggy is in for one hard summer!
