| description | TG10 with Tamiya's new OS SW engine. Comparing it to a friend's TG10 Daytona the engine block is the same, but the head, bearings, & carb are all different. OS carb has low & high end needle valve adjustment as well as idle adjustment. This differs from all the other std Tamiya engines which have fixed low-end mixture jets.
The car is my first Nitro & I'm still learning to tune it but when on-song it's sooo fast with bags of torque. Long four-wheel power slides & endless do-nuts result in a set of slicks getting so hot they wore out in under an hour's driving on tarmac.
You can get a two-speed for these cars but I wouldn't bother, just spend £12 on a Nitro tuning book from Amazon & get it running on-song.
