Shelf Queen

description  Time ago, I've had that lucky local find of a well conditioned WW, specially the chassis (and more important for a shelfer: the tires!). But for the body I had to go for a new one (they dont have the metallic wing-spoiler...) and thought: easy job...and even I did the Lancia Rally and other 'sticker-manias' this body was real challenging....anyway, it's such a unique model and hope one day I'll have some driving experiences - probably with the old body fixed... and other tires, of course

Yes you're right (WW-nut). I thought about, and I'm not sure about the paint sheme yet..to say, you've got some excellent ones (!) which inspires me - specially the black I find interesting... thanks man, for your hints!

Ah yes, couldn't see that from the photos.

Good luck with the repair though instead of making another box art Wheeler body, why not try another paint scheme on it?

Hi all ! Big thanks for your impressive comments ! @WW-nut: You cant see it on the pic I showed. But some prev. owner cut the body to probably use bigger tires...So just yesterday I bought some Epoxy Putty from Tamiya to shape it back to original, and that's not going to be easy. But at least I have a second pair of decals already... Cheers

Fantastic job on the new shell! Of all the WW series this is my favourite car. Tamiya really had a sense of humour when it came to designing these models

Fantastic job; really like the detailing of Willy's face. This is my favourite Tamiya rc car

What was wrong with the original shell, it looks restorable in the photo?
