| description | another survivor of the 90's touring car phase. i have tried to take pictures of this many times and was always disappointed. i figured out if i layered colors, i could make the paint shift to different shades, really hard to see in pics, but this is the best its ever looked. also, the top was wet-sanded to look like a rag top.

thanks morten, the originals had the tiny engines here too, still fun, but not really fast. the top is wet sanded with fine paper. i did get some outdoor pics, but these actually are alot better.
Man, I remember when this car showed up in teh James Bond movie Goldeneye. Light blue and so good looking! Maybe the Z3s in USA all have big engines and the M-badge on the trunk, but here in Norway most of them were dull 1.8 litres. I must say I think the Z4 looks more macho than the Z3, and has alot more attitude. Again, your paint job is amazing. Would love too see some outdoor pics. How did you do that roof?
too bad they dont make your body style, that would be cool to have.
Nice one C, Like the roof detail. I've been saving one of these shells for some future build.
Yea, good idea! love to see wat hey shout say lol!
Nice one C
ha ha, that is too funny, i will make a post there just for him.
Another great stunner, love the paint on the roof. Look so realistic! Have you showed this car to Ed alias dadrap from rcjeeps! Hey´s crazy if it goos about pink paintsheme´s but hey woudt love it...sure!
loving the roof C
thanks kees, the roof did not look right all smooth and shiny.
The rooftop-finish is brilliant and the pics show the paint well. Nice beemer!
thanks brian, it really looks best in sunlight.
Great looking paint work C. The colors really pop
