I can alway remember walking past beatties as a child, and starring through the endless rows of glass cabinets, always wishing always wanting.

Many years later whilst shopping with with my wife to be and kids. i thought about the idea again, 'go for it, get one if you want' she said. The beast was unleashed.

I'm one of the lucky ones, my soon to be wife enjoys watching me running r/c cars and never minds tagging along for me to run them. Hopefully when bailey (my son) grows up he will be an addict to tamiya too, but seeing as hes currently 5 years old hes got a long way to go, which is like my colllection ;o)

I now have a growing collection of r/c cars and trucks and buggies. Very few oldies as i don;t have the cash to repair as i am a hard driving test pilot with a heavy left thumb.
