I bought an FAV in Hong Kong in 1984 and loved it (to death). Always wanted a to get more but could never afford it.
I finally got a TA02 and went racing. I wasn't ever that good (it could explain the name) but I enjoyed every part of racing at club level. The tweaking of the car, the dicing on the track and the testing of a new bit of kit.
I had to give racing away when the first daughter arrived and the C4 I was racing went on the shelf.
Somewhere in all this time, I had started to restore my FAV. I'd also picked up a few runners and basket cases. I don't think I've actually *finished* a resto yet. I don't think I ever will. I can't resist driving them.
