I have been collecting for 20 years both Tamiya and other Japanese r/c cars, including toy ones. At the moment there are 90 Tamiya cars in my collection, of which 8 are ones I always use to drive, when I can. In terms of toy ones I have about 40. I started in the hobby because I was lucky to get a Saturday job in a local hobby shop and from there a 2nd hand Sand Rover came in one day, so I bought it as my first car. A year later the Brat came out so I got one of those as my first brand new car.
