Started in RC about 12 years ago when I was given a Manta Ray for my Birthday present off my parents. It took me a whole day to build it, but couldn't run it as I'd forgotten to charge the battery. The next day was heaven, I spent almsot all day running the car. I still have that old car, although technically its not old any more as I've completely rebuilt her, she still runs a dream though, bet she could still beat my mates cars at a head to head.

The car was ignored for some years though due to my other financially demanding hobbies, but all that ended when I bought myself a King Blackfoot from my LHS. Then things snowballed, I got myself a TT01 for my birthday last year, and since then I haven't stopped. The collection is now a Manta Ray, 2 Astutes, a TA04R, a Dyna Storm, and Academy Griffin and an RC10.

All I need now is a good track nearby to go race, so if anyone knows of one in and around Manchester/Cheshire then please let me know.
