I bought my first Tamiya, a Bearhawk, in the early 1990s. I then bought a Bullhead soon after for off-road scrabbling on local woodland gravel tracks and hillsides. That slippery slope led to several other monster trucks.
I founded a local Mini enthusiast club in 1991 so when Kyosho and Tamiya released their Coopers most of my club members, including myself, bought them and made mini versions of our own cars to drive about at shows and events. We drove everyone nuts by ramming them into the general public's ankles!


I now work for Mini Magazine, and am building a project M05 Mini Cooper
