As said this was the build that got me back into RC. I just bought a couple of Traxxas cars for my kids, but when I was young Tamiya was the brand to go for. As a youngster I owned a Tamiya Super Champ and my brother had a Tamiya Wild Willy M38. Always liked the Wild Willy.
So I bought two used Tamiya Wild Willy 2s and that was the start of a lot of other RCs. These two used Wild Willys were the base for this rebuild and for other Tamiya Wild Willy builds to come. A Part 2 driving video is on the way very soon.
Now I wanted to do something a little different on this one and after seeing a lot of cool Tamiya Wild Willys on the internet and Tamiyaclub I came up with the idea of making a bikini top out of some fabric. Hope you like the end result in this video. Enjoy!
