Alternative for rc racing!
killerkip

I heard this model have leaky shock oil no matter how many times you rebuild them. but marks on the bottom of the chassis easily washes off with a garden hose.

Yokomo yz10
Eau Rouge

very nice, used to race one of these back in the day, the front magnesium bulkhead likes to snap when you hit something though, which gets expensive, but I'd love to have any other one as nice as your's now..

Brushless lunchbox playing in the sand
Dante77

I've put a mamba max 5700 and 3S lipo in my Midnight Pumpkin and and it was just about impossible to drive and when you try to make a turn the gear diff just unloads and and back end starts dancing until it flip itself over. and yes, I also did the same (4200 nimh) to my grasshopper (same gearbox all) and it will run all day with not transmission problem, a bit hard on rear tires and bodywork though.

Tamiya fox

Kyosho 1:8 suzuki rgv 500
SibeSeven

I didn't know Kyosho released a RGV500 in it's first gen. motorbike series, much less a Kevin Schwantz Pepsi livery as all I've ever seen are Wayne Gardner Rothman Honda NSR500 and Eddie Lawson Yamaha red and white YZR500, this is a fantastic find, let me know if you ever want to get rid of this, it'll look great next to my Lucky Strike later version, Kevin is a hero of mine growing up on bikes, meet him at Road Atlanta a few years back, he's a real demon on bikes and a super nice bloke in person.

thought I saw this on ebay, I'm very jealous now....I love these cars as I used to race against them with my Optima Mids back in the day.

My new ride
carlos vandango

nice ride, wish we can get these in the states, the first evo we got was the VIII, but I always thought the V was the meanest looking of the EVO series, now you just need a matching Tamiya version!

With lights!
Road Burner

I just got mine 3racing LED kit in my carbon TT01 and they work perfectly also, I would recommend that run the control wires to the module (if mounted under the roof) zip -tie them away from your antenna wire, also make sure your jumper wires are completely secured to there respective plugs, as anytime you run jumper wires inline of your servo and ESC will introduce possible glitches, I used a lot of zip ties to hold down the wires so they don't move around and bounce over all the other electronics. hope you get it fixed, car looks good though.

you're a lucky man, been wanting one of these for years....used to race against them with my Kyosho Turbo Optima...oh how we all had to tighten those chain links with pliers. good times.

'the original' part of my evo nib collection (evo iv)
TIMECMDR

I think it is being released on tamiya's DF-03RA chassis, just as they will do to the Celica, I have one of these Ta03f EVO myself, one of Tamiya's best handling chassis I think...you must build it!!

Kyosho ultima graphite
sk790-93

that's 'team pit stop' chain drive conversion, if I remember correctly were base out in Miami Florida, I have one of these transmission in one of my rc10 gold pan as well, 'ranch pit stop' is where team losi started out back in the day before team losi came out, I used to go out to Miami to get parts for my rc10 chain drive, oh how I remember having to use pliers to tighten each links like my Optima....

RETRO R/C

thanks, so little are known about these, thanks for sharing the info, I remember when these came out, and I think it was Circus Circus hobby that sold them in the states, and were very expensive and all I could remember was that a 4wd car that came with alloy wheel stock, never seen on any other kit that I can recall, I guess that's why we like these old kits so much, all the new cars are all the same proven design, nothing daring, nothing new, back then there were no 'winning formula', everyone tried something different to see what works, that is sadly not true anymore, you have a fantastic collection, my friend!

Schumacher topcat - box only wish i still had the original contents :-/
DerbyDan

used to race one of these topcat, but as much as I like the front suspension, once there is enough dirt on the pivots, it would lock up the front suspension, still would love another one now....

Update work space
Old Skool

nice collections you have there,
oh...wait, is that divorce court on tv? is the wife giving you hints....I've told my wife from the start that in our new house, the garage and the biggest spare bedroom is mine, one to keep the big toys and the other for the smaller ones, and soon the back yard as well will turn into a rc track as both of us hate mowing the yard, she can have the rest.
