Found the wheels on Ebay. There are still a set or two there but I think they keep raising the prices for them.

Thommo: I used a 50mm Lens on my camera and moved in real close for the shots. No Zoom.

Fully detailed body on a hopped-up tt-01
Truck Norris

If I were not told differently, I would have thought I was looking at the real car and driver. You've got skills. I have a Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evolution II still in the box kit with TT-01 type-E chassis. You have given me inspiration for my next project. I'm going to use your work as my benchmark. I'll post it if I get close. Great work!!!

Looks like a ford
Flash51

Thanks for the nice comments.

Steffen: The wheels were patterned and designed for the Truck kit that shipped with red wheels 'King Blackfoot'. Years ago Ebay use to have a lot of neat stuff for the R/C parts hunter.

NEINEI-78: Work before play you know. I'm sure you'll get to it in good time. I only recently started putting some of my projects in the showroom because of all the time I have on my hands here during mandatory isolation.

Tamiya model along with a few cool facts
Flash51

Thanks you Guys!

OCD: When I found this little truck on Ebay some years ago. It shipped from Michigan. My bet is the trucks were commissioned to be built through Tamiya and sold by the Dealership between 99 and 06. The paint and detail on the truck appears to be factory work.

Avante 2001 runner - part 2
ruebiracer

You did a absolutely marvelous job on the Avante. A great eye for color matching. All of the precision work you put into this R/C model really shows by the excellent outcome of the project. What can I say, Tamiya at some of it's best.
