This is a new and very rare DWA Commando quarter scale motorcycle. It was sold by the italian company DWA in the early 80ies. The ultra rare Mondial engine fits in very well!
The last picture ou can see the size difference From a 1/6 scale to the quarter scale.
I had one of these, they go really well, sold it to buy my son a new race buggy, he said when he gets older he would buy me another one, im still waiting great bike, I still have some new fairings for it.
Oh yes, this must of been the first bike with direct steering, I remember seeing it in the shop and thinking how can that work ? but tried it on my scratch built bike and it did fantastic, are you going to run it?
That is cool, but why is the starter box labeled Robbe??? I also wonder if you could put a ruler or something size specific next to it as I would think 1/4 size is much bigger than any of the bikes out there that I have seen. Thanks for sharing this with us and that bike of yours looks real cool too. How often do you get to ride your full scale??

Wow, looks really cool. That starter box looks one of a kind. Your lucky to have that with the bike. Nice collection piece.

I notice you have the later kit with the direct steering, the old one had twin servos and leaning forks like the Kyosho.

Is this one better to drive with the direct steering?

Ah, the black box radio reappears. That is a bit more helpful in gauging size of this large bike. It is much bigger than I would have imagined.
