I bought these before I got the bodyshell, just over a year ago.
The alloy rims and adapters are from RC Channel and we all know how good thier products are.
I might be having a re-think on this project, I can't decide at the moment. But if I do the shell will sell and so will the alloys..
Let me know what you think of the wheels.

Wheels looks great, a different look is sometime´s better then seeing always the same sort of tires and wheels. I woudt live them on it, a box art look is not always the best.

Looks a lot like the real one I took a photo of so long ago. 'http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=32242&sid=2640' Looks sharp, but for my opinion, they stick outside the wheel wells a bit too much. Just my 2 cents worth.

Looks great from the side, not too sure on the front view though, they stick out a little too far for me.

The wheels look good with the truck chassis. I just wish RC channel had a regular web site. It seems the only place I can see there stuff is on the bay.

Thanks for all your comments guys, I've never had such a mixed reaction. Can someone tell me the measurement of outside tyre face to outside tyre side with standard wheels. I like to compare the two..

This is a tough one to call Steve, but I've never been entirely happy with the way the original wheels look on a Ranger ... I think you've made the original 'problem' more obvious. I wonder if you could mount the body a little higher and shutter off under the arches?

You're on the right track here but I think bigger modified arches might cover the wheels better but then you're detracting from the original look, it's your call at the end of the day, but I'm sure you'll make the right decision

I love these rims!!! And was going to buy a set of these for my Ranger but I was to late
. In your discription you mention about selling the alloys. Did I read that correctly? If you plan on selling the alloys please let me know I would love to have a chance on buying them. The truck looks great, love the color, tires, wheels, it all works very well for me

Steve, I Love the wheels! But honestly not on this truck. They are too big and too far out for my liking. Just my opinion.

Steve,I love this look! Looks very scale to me and if it was 1:1 I would like to own it! I've never appreciated the box art Ranger wheels, especially in white. These wheels you have here are killer!
