I'm very proud to show you my masterpiece in my collection.

About a year ago I finished a newbuilt Blazing Blazer chassis out of a nib kit.

I gave the body in the professional hands of our fellow member Kokuzu to make something special.

After a few weeks of planning and discussing the project the body has to become the following issues:

=> several layers of 2K orange-red metal colour
=> decals + shut lines under a coat of clear lacquer
rear bed and interieur in flat black
=> the following parts are chromed: rear-bed slidingrails, roof with rollbars, grille and the edges of the rear lights
=> custom made air cleaner
=> custom made seats and seatbelts
=> tire lettering.

Matthias (Kokuzu) did again an awesome job. Many thanks for your fantastic work. :-)

Now, a year later the project has finished and the Blazing Blazer has a special place in my cabinet. I can have a look on her everyday with a smile on my face :-)

Enjoy the pictures!

Comments are welcome as always.

Absolutely stunning, what did you or Kokuzu use to chrome the parts? As I use chrome spray pait on my model toy plane it look great but you can't touch it as it will smudge or rub off.

That's a beauty and credit to You and also to Kokuzu for his unselfish skills. It certainly deserves the display cabinet.

great looking Blazer, I prefer this to the black usually used. The red feels more like a desert race color

I have looked at this closely and the level of detail is extremely neat but the depth of the paintwork is superb, most of the pictures dont show how good the paint is ! this is the next and probably the last Tamiya car I am going to get and this one just makes me want one now !!
Top work that man well done
