Not bad for a very very cheap price
Received the Technigold motor that I purchased today. Am very happy indeed, I was going to pop in an Acto 2WD Pink Motor into my Madcap, but in the manual it is not listed as an optional hop up, but the Technigold is. So one just had to be bought and installed.
Motor looked a bit rough in the pictures but the box looked in good condition. Send a silly low offer and was accepted :)
Arrived today, the box is almost mint, all the corners are in fantastic condition for its age. Opened up removed the motor and again its in better condition than shown in the pictures. Okay so both motor wire tabs are broken (no big deal, easy fix) and the label has a wear mark from being in and out of cars. But opened it up and the brushes are still in great condition with very little blueing and also the comm is not miss shapped or badly work either.
Planning on doing a light restore with the motor (new tabs, clean and tidy up and fit it into the Madcap to run. :)
Thanks
James

Very interesting that the Technigold is mentioned as an upgrade suitable for on-road cars as well. I never knew that...

Good find! Loving the box!

Oh, I am jealous, you have the box. The motor tabs are a hard part to come by, I have been looking for a suitable replacement part, but so far haven't turned them up. I am looking for something that is extremely close to the original. Wanna swap for the box???
